Big Sky Construction is a firm of luxury builders working across North Norfolk, on private houses from Holt down to the coast. Projects range from new coastal homes to listed-building restoration, carried out alongside architects and conservation officers. We take on a small number each year.
What we do
New builds
Ground-up construction of bespoke new homes in Norfolk on single plots, to architects’ drawings. We handle everything from groundworks to final finishes.
Barn conversions & restorations
Conversion of Norfolk agricultural buildings into dwellings, and repair of older flint, brick and timber houses. Structural, roofing and joinery work in the original vernacular.
Listed buildings & heritage work
Grade II and Grade II* projects carried out with conservation officers and historic-building consultants. Lime mortar, traditional joinery, hand-made bricks where the building calls for them.

How we work
Craftsmanship
A settled team of joiners, brickmasons and plasterers, most of whom have worked with us for years. Materials chosen to match the building, not to cut the programme.
Collaboration
Close working with architects, conservation officers and structural engineers from the outset. Clients involved as much or as little as they want to be.
Discretion
Most of our projects aren’t published. References and site visits with previous owners are available on request.
Where we work
Our projects are across North Norfolk — Holt, Burnham Market, Wells-next-the-Sea, Blakeney, Cromer, Sheringham and the villages between. We also take on work further inland in the Glaven valley and around the Norfolk Broads.
